DETAILS:

1. South Gate and Downey Police Detectives are at the scene of a homicide in the city of South Gate.
2. The fatal shooting was reported around 11:30 pm On 11-16-24 late Saturday night.
3. The victim, an unidentified male, was shot multiple times and left on a sidewalk in front of a home.
4. The shooting occurred on McNerney Ave just South of Firestone Blvd.
5. Downey detectives at the scene would not comment on an ongoing investigation and told me to reach out to Downey PD media relations.
