Man Shot and Killed After Altercation

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 7-20-25 / 9:30 pm
LOCATION: 7298 Kings Gate Cir
AREA/CITY: Houston
DETAILS:

1. HPD units responded to a disturbance with a weapon turned shooting call.
2. It was reported a man in a truck got into an unknown verbal altercation with at least 5 people, which included males and females.
3. At some point someone in the group through a brick at the truck.
4. Then someone in the group opened fired on the truck striking the truck and the man.
5. The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
6. The group fled the scene.
7. There is video footage of the incident investigators will be looking at.
8. Investigation is on going.
