Man Shoots At Neighbor & Barricades For Almost 10 Hours Until He’s Arrested

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 10-19-25 started around 8:00 pm. Started shooting around 11:00 pm
LOCATION: Grand and 77th St
AREA/CITY: South LA
DETAILS:

  1. ADDED CLIPS OF SHOTS AND ARREST AT THE START OF THE VIDEO.
  2. Police say a man shot at his neighbors twice before the LAPD and SWAT surrounded the South LA Home.
  3. The man, only described as a 79-year-old Hispanic male, was known to be armed with a 22 rifle and a 9mm Beretta.
  4. The suspect shot into his neighbor’s home while the victim was eating. unknown if the victim was injured.
  5. LAPD SWAT shot multiple rounds of rubber bullets and pepperballs, which filled the air, making it hard to breathe for everyone around, including the suspects’ neighbors, who were out for the whole thing, not being able to sleep.
  6. LAPD broke windows and shot from rooftops.
  7. At around 4:00 am SWAT finally entered the home and brought the suspect out.
