Man Setting Fires Outside Charter School Arrested

LOCATION: 6th Ave & Ash St
AREA/CITY: San Diego
DETAILS:

 

1. 911 Dispatchers were called about a male starting a fire against a tree outside of a charter school on Ash St.
2. A Good Samaritan was able to put the fire out before it got out of control.
3. SDPD Officers found the male near 5th & Beech St and detained him.
4. A search of the males’ belongings found a cigarette light, drugs, and drug paraphernalia.
5. The male was arrested for Arson and Illegal drugs in his possession.
