Man Running Late To Dental Appointment Causes Head-On Collision | National City

06.25.2021 | 10:19 AM | NATIONAL CITY – According to the Police, the male driver of the Infinity was northbound on Highland Ave and ran the red light on purpose due to being late to a dental appointment. He hit an elderly male who was westbound on 30th St in the Toyota pickup and sent him spinning. The Infinity then hit the male driver of the Nissan head-on who was waiting for his light to turn green as he was sitting in the left-turn lane. The Infinity then caught fire which the firefighters arrived quickly and put the fire out. The driver of the truck was transported with unknown injuries to a local hospital.
