Man Rescued After Slamming His Car Into a Tree | Santa Paula

02.06.2022 | 2:58 AM | SANTA PAULA – CHP Ventura officers responded to a call of a vehicle that had flown off the westbound 126 Freeway west of Briggs Rd.

Crews from the Ventura City and County Fire Departments arrived to find a white sedan sedan sideways in a tree with the solo male occupant trapped inside.

It took crews approximately 20 minutes to extricate the driver due to heavy intrusion in the cabin.

The driver was transported to a local trauma center in unknown condition.

The reason as to why the vehicle left the roadway is under investigation.
