Man Rescued After Falling Into Construction Site Hole
At approximately 4:00 a.m. on June 11, 2026, Los Angeles Fire Department crews responded to a rescue call at a closed construction site in the 11000 block of West Hartsook Street in North Hollywood.
According to authorities, a man had fallen into a hole within the construction area and was unable to get out on his own.
Firefighters worked to safely access the patient and lift him from the excavation.
Following the rescue, the man was able to walk to a waiting gurney under his own power.
Paramedics evaluated the patient before transporting him to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The circumstances surrounding how the man entered the closed construction site and fell into the hole were not immediately known.
No firefighters were injured during the rescue operation.
