Man Killed In Shooting On Skid Row

A homicide investigation is underway after a man was found fatally wounded Saturday night on Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles.
LAPD and Los Angeles firefighters responded around 10:15 p.m. on October 4, 2026, to the area of Crocker and 4th streets. The incident was initially dispatched as a reported stabbing but was later investigated as a homicide.
Preliminary reports from the scene indicated the victim had suffered a gunshot wound to the eye. Authorities had not immediately released additional details regarding his injuries or the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
A canopy could be seen erected near what was believed to be the victim’s vehicle as investigators processed the scene.
