Man in Wheelchair Killed Crossing The Stree

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 3-13-25, 10:53 p.m.
LOCATION: COMMON WEALTH AVE AND LIBRARY LANE
AREA/CITY: Fullerton
DETAILS:

1. According to Kristy Wells, PIO for Fullerton PD, tonight, the Fullerton Police Department and Fullerton Fire Department responded to a reported vehicle vs. pedestrian call.
2. When units arrived they found a man in a wheelchair down in the roadway.
3. Firefighter paramedics pronounced the person in the wheelchair deceased at the scene.
4. It is unclear if they were on a crosswalk at the time of the incident.
5. Fullerton Police Department Major Accident Investigative Team is assuming the investigation.
6. It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the incident.
7. The driver remained at the scene.
