Man In Wheelchair Injured After Being Struck By Hit & Run Driver

A man in a wheelchair in a crosswalk was struck by a vehicle travelling south on La Brea crossing over Santa Monica Blvd. The man’s leg (caution) is severely injured/damaged. The vehicle that struck the man continued on. The victim could bee seen in pain on the ground next to his wheelchair. Both the victim and wheelchair were put into an ambulance and taken to the hospital. LASD is speaking with witnesses.
