Man in Mini-Van Tries Fleeing Police, But Crashes into Train | Riverside

4.8.2021 | 4:09 PM | RIVERSIDE – A man who tried running from Colton PD ended his escape when he crashed into the side of a moving train Thursday afternoon.

Riverside Fire Department responded to a call of a vehicle into a passing train following a pursuit termination involving Colton Police Department.

When they arrived, they found one vehicle on the tracks with major damage and one person trapped.

Fire crews extricated the occupant/suspect, one male. His injuries are unknown at this time.

The track were closed until the vehicle was removed from the tracks
