Man Hospitalized After Shooting, Three Suspects Detained

Three suspects were detained following an overnight shooting that left a man hospitalized in Humble.

At approximately 2:17 a.m. on August 10, 2026, deputies responded to the 3700 block of Liles Lane following reports of several gunshots.

An adult male was found suffering from a gunshot wound and transported to a local hospital. Authorities said his injuries appeared to be non-life-threatening, and he was reported in stable condition.

During the investigation, three suspects were detained.

A vehicle was also stopped near Whispering Pines Elementary School and was believed to possibly be connected to the shooting.

The circumstances leading up to the gunfire and whether any of those detained will face charges were not immediately available.

The investigation remains ongoing.
