Man Gunned Down In Front of His Home on Christmas

DETAILS:
- LAPD received a call of shots fired in the Watts neighborhood.
- LAPD arrived to find a male on the sidewalk suffering from gunshot wounds.
- LAPD used a ramming tool to break down a door to a home where the victim was found and cleared it. Unknown why they went into the property.
- The victim was transported to the hospital in unknown condition and a resident I spoke with said officers told him he could not retrieve his vehicle because it was now a homicide.
- LAPD officers would not answer questions.
- Homicide detectives have been called to the scene.
- New Info: LAPD officer that was at the scene says the person is believed to live in the rear of the home where he was found shot in the head.
