Man Gunned Down In Front Of Apartment, South LA

1. Neighbors nearby heard lots of gunshots and a car speeding away and called police, saying a man was lying on the ground near the steps to an apartment, not moving.
2. LAPD requested a canopy, but firefighters were about to cover the body, but LAFD decided to transport with CPR in progress.
3. No suspect description or vehicle info available.
4. A window to the apartment was also hit by gunfire.
5. Homicide detectives are investigating.
