Man Found Shot To Death In Middle Of Street

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 8-16-24 | Approx 9:30 p.m.
LOCATION: Broadway & Imperial Hwy
AREA/CITY: Los Angeles
DETAILS:

1. LAPD & LAFD responded to a report of a shooting
2. Officers arrived to find a male shot multiple times in the back
3. The male was found not conscious & not breathing
4. Officers requested LAFD Paramedics
5. LAFD arrived and declared the male deceased at the scene
6. LAPD has broadway shut down while officers investigate
7. Several shell casings have been found near the victims body
