Man Found Shot to Death in Houston Street

Officers with the Houston Police Department’s South Central Division responded to a shooting call.

Upon arrival, they found a male victim lying in the street and began performing CPR.

Houston Fire Department paramedics arrived and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.

Police stated the victim had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim had reportedly been attending a house party at a nearby residence, which was being rented as an Airbnb. Not confirmed if the party was 4th of July related.

No suspects are currently in custody – One man was detained at scene but unknown for what at this time.
