Man Found Shot To Death At Houston Apartment Complex

Houston Police are investigating after a man was found shot to death at an apartment complex early Sunday morning.

At approximately 1:20 a.m. on August 2, 2026, officers responded to a shots-fired call at the Oakwood Gardens apartments, located at 5625 Antoine Drive in Houston.

When officers arrived, they found a man lying on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the head and chest. The victim, believed to be in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

At this time, investigators have not released any information regarding a possible motive, suspect, or suspect description.

Houston Police homicide detectives responded to the scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
