Man Found Shot To Death After Crash

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 1222-24, 7:21 p.m.
LOCATION: 13000 block of Leota Court

On Sunday, December 22, 2024, at 7:21 p.m., deputies from the Moreno Valley Station were initially dispatched to the 13000 block of Leota Court in Moreno Valley regarding a major traffic collision. Upon arrival, deputies located a deceased male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Responding deputies secured the scene with crime scene tape and closed the area to all vehicle and foot traffic.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office Central Homicide Unit responded and assumed the investigation. The decedent has not been identified, and the investigation is still ongoing. No further information will be released at this time.
