Man Found Shot In Pickup After Crashing Into Parked Car

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 3-15-24 | 9:14 p.m.
LOCATION: 8648 Morehart Ave
AREA/CITY: Los Angeles
DETAILS:

1. LAPD & LAFD responded to a shooting
2. The PR stated they found a male shot in a pickup truck
3. Officers arrived and located a male in his 20s, not conscious and not breathing, sitting in the driver’s seat
4. LAFD was requested to the scene
5. Firefighters arrived and transported the male to an area hospital with CPR in progress.
6. Officers located a single bullet hole on the front passenger side window
7. A woman was also possibly in the truck when the shooting happened; it does not appear she was injured
8. LAPD is canvasing the area for video footage & other evidence related to the shooting
