Man Found Dead With Gunshot To The Back, Houston, TX
INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 1-27-26 | 1:40 a.m.
LOCATION: Mesa & Nyssa
AREA/CITY: Houston
DETAILS:
- Per Lt. Ali via phone: “Basically, there is a security guard at the apartments under construction who heard a loud noise and gunshots being fired. As of now, no suspects, suspect vehicle, or anything available. Unknown if the victim was being chased and involved in the shooting; no clue what started this.”
- Per HPD Homicide via phone, officers responded to a crash and found a victim with a gunshot wound to the back.
- Note: A couple of wreckers arrived around 5:15 a.m. Scene may be cleared soon. Patrol officer at roadblock went to check if anyone could provide sound / info.
