Man Found Dead In Car After Shooting

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 4-15-24 / 9:52 pm
LOCATION: 600 block of W Canino Rd @ North Fwy Feeder Rd.
AREA/CITY: Houston
DETAILS:

1. HPD patrol units responded to reports of a shooting.
2. Arriving officers located a Toyota sedan with the driver, a male in his early 20’s, suffering from gun shot wounds.
3. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene by HFD.
4. It was reported the victim was driving westbound on W Canino Rd.
5. He stopped at the stop sign, at the same time a full size pickup truck pulled up next to him and fired several shots at him before turning northbound onto North Fwy feeder rd.
6. The victim’s car then rolled forward before stopping at the curb for the North Fwy.
