Man Found Dead After Illegal Cannabis Operation Goes Up In Flames

The Los Angeles Fire Department battled a Major Emergency Structure Fire in South Los Angeles early this morning, involving an apparent cannabis operation in what was a seemingly vacant one-story commercial building. The call came out as a car fire but was quickly upgraded to a structure fire. LAFD had fire showing through the roof. Unknown if any injuries, but there is a woman at the seen who said she saw people trapped inside, she was very distraught. The fire was a Major Emergency with 113 firefighters at scene. LAFD did fight this fire defensively. After the fire was knocked down firefighters located an adult male deceased in the building.
