Man Fights With Officers After Minor Crash
INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 6-17-25 3-48 am
LOCATION: SB I-5 S/O Dairy Mart Rd
AREA/CITY: San Diego
DETAILS:
- 1st Responders arrived at the scene of a car off the freeway and immediately went into a “Stand Back for PD”.
- Both the male and the female from the car were running back and forth in the middle of the freeway, arguing.
- When CHP officers arrived, the female was lying down on the freeway.
- The male became non-compliant with the officers and started to fight with them in the middle of the freeway.
- More officers arrived and were able to subdue the male in the end.
- He started to fight again, and a “Body Wrap” was applied.
- While firefighters were attending to the female, she became aggressive, and officers were able to arrest her.
- CHP, SDSO Deputies, and SDPD officers all arrived to help with the struggle.
- Both have been arrested and DUI and illegal narcotics are believed to be involved.
