- HPD South Gessner Patrol responded to reports of a shooting
- Arriving units located a male in his 40s with at least 1 gunshot wound
- male was pronounced deceased at scene
- prelim info, male and another male went into the apartment complex to purchase something
- an altercation ensued, and people from the other side of the transaction began shooting (believed to be 2 males)
- passenger in the truck jumped back in and they drove off, but the gunshot victim fell out of the truck near the intersection
