Man Escapes Serious Injury After Flying Off Freeway Ramp

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 02/16/23 12:23 A.M.
LOCATION: North bound 110 at Ave 43 Off Ramp
CITY: Los Angeles
DETAILS:

1. Authorities responded to a reported traffic accident.
2. Officers arrived to find a solo vehicle collision.
3. The vehicle was unable to make a turn on the off ramp and went through a wall falling about twenty feet into the flood control channel.
4. The driver was able to escape the vehicle before firefighters arrived.
5. Paramedics drove and ambulance down into the river bottom and transported the man to a hospital in unknown condition.
6. It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
7. CHP are investigating the crash.
