Man Drowns in Malibu Creek Rock Pool

INCIDENT DATE/TIME:7-31-23 5:33pm
LOCATION: Malibu Creek State Park Rock Pool
CITY: Calabasas
DETAILS:

1. One man is dead after drowning in the Malibu Creek State Park Rock Pool.
2. A large response from LASD, LACo.FD, CA State Parks searched for the man and located him within the rock pool water area.
3. Two divers (LACoFD Lifeguards) were flown to the state park from Zuma Beach.
4. CPR was done on the man for several minutes before he was pronounced dead.
