Man Dies After Falling Off Senior Living Building

At approximately 12:10 a.m. on July 1, 2026, Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to reports of a possible jumper at Third Thyme Senior Living, located at 1441 W. 3rd Street in the Westlake neighborhood of Los Angeles.

When first responders arrived, they located an individual who was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Los Angeles Police Department officers requested a privacy canopy as detectives began their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death.

The incident occurred at Third Thyme, a senior living facility that opened in 2025.

Authorities have not released the identity of the deceased or confirmed whether the incident was accidental or intentional.

The Los Angeles Police Department is continuing to investigate, and no additional information has been released.
