- 911 Dispatchers received a call from a juvenile that her mother was involved in a Domestic Violence type of incident with her Ex-Boyfriend.
- The male was armed with a handgun and forced the victim into a Mercedes sedan and forced her to drive away.
- This happened in an apartment complex on Oro Vista Rd near Iris Ave.
- Officers arrived and found the car had stopped.
- The car was then driven away with the officers in pursuit.
- Officers were able to use spike strips on Tocayo Ave.
- The woman stopped and got out of the car and ran.
- A gunshot was heard, and the bullet went through the back window.
- The male had shot and killed himself.
- The female was safe.
- Oro Vista is closed for the investigation between Hollister Rd and Oro Vista Rd.
