Man Dead After Being Shot Outside Gas Station

Updated: A male adult has died at a hospital after a confrontation with another male who remains on the run this morning. According to Lt. Vizcarra off camera, deputies responded to the area for shots fired. When arriving, they located a male adult down with multiple gun shot wounds to the torso. The subject was taken to St. Francis where he was pronounced dead. Suspect remains outstanding.
- A person was gunned down at a Shell gas station Thursday night, with a quick response by deputies
- Deputies patrolling the area put out emergency radio traffic advising that a possible shooting suspect had just ran from them northbound along Passons Blvd
- As additional units arrived, they found one shooting victim down next to a truck and corvette parked within the Shell gas station
- Deputies locked down the area and requested paramedics for the unresponsive victim
- Witnesses in the area advised that after deputies lost visual on the suspect, he allegedly got into a red 4Runner and fled the area
- CPR was reported to be in progress when paramedics transported the victim to a nearby trauma center
- Deputies remain at the location investigating the scene and gathering additional information
