Man Cut From Wrecked F-150 After Crashing Into Semi Truck | Downey

- California Highway Patrol, Sante Fe Springs Office and Downey Fire Department responded to reports of a semi truck vs a Ford F150 with the occupant of the Ford trapped.
- When units arrived on scene they found a Swift Semi truck and the Ford under the rear if the semi with major damage.
- Downey Fire Department confirmed the driver was trapped and started a lengthy extrication, the extrication has taken over an hour and is still ongoing.
- At this time crews are working to get the Ford out from under the semi by hooking up the semi trailer to a heavy load tow truck using a complex, redirect pully system.
- It took fire fighters at least an hours to successfully extricate the victim from the crushed truck.
- Miraculously the victim survived the extrication and was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
- While crews were working to extricate the victim, a car traveling on the freeway BLEW through the CHP break and into the scene, narrowly missing multiple fire engines and CHP units and came to a stop with a blown out tire almost hitting the photographer stopped about 30 ft away in the 3rd video, you can see that man going through Field Sobriety Tests.
- ADDED INFO: We have been informed that the driver that blew threw the CHP break and almost hit first responders and photographers was arrested. the reason for his arrest is unknown.
