1. A man crossing the street near a crosswalk was struck and killed by a white Mercedes SUVat the intersection of 83rd St and S. San Pedro St.
2. The impact was so strong that it left a huge dent in the SUV’s hood.
3. The victim was thrown into the air, landing between 83rd and 82nd St.
4. The victim’s hat lies on the ground near the crosswalk in front of a neighborhood market that was open at the time.
