Man Climbs Power Pole, Draws Large Crowd Before Being Taken Into Custody
INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 12-24-25 started around sundown, ended at 10:00pm with suspect in custody
LOCATION: North of Vernon west of Wall east of Main

DETAILS:
- A man climbed a power pole around sundown creating a spectacle
- As time went on more people showed, mostly with phones live-streaming
- LAPD & LAFD came and went after hours of waiting
- At some point the power in the area was shut off
- More & more streamers showed – YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, X, Kick etc…
- The neighborhood was able to get the man down around 9:45pm
- The crowd grew and surround the now famous neighborhood-man
- LAPD showed up after he was down to take him into custody
- The neighborhood did not like them taking him due to the reasoning they are the ones who brought him down, not LAPD
- A help call was made and help came to clear the crowd
- No arrests beside the neighborhood poleman
