Man Casually Watching TV Almost Struck by Bullet in His Own Apartment | San Diego

06.28.2021 | 2:00 PM | SAN DIEGO – The male resident of a downstairs apartment at 8654 Lake Ashmere Dr had just laid on his couch to watch some TV when a bullet was fired in from an upstairs apartment.

The bullet came through the ceiling, and through the top of the couch before entering the wall. The resident was missed by inches.The resident then heard someone running upstairs.

Officers arrived and after several call-outs, they entered the upstairs apartment and did not find anyone or the weapon. They did find the bullet hole in the floor.

The bullet almost exited the downstairs apartment wall. The Police believe they know who fired the shot and are looking for him.
