- Anaheim Police Department and Anaheim Fire Department responded to a reported assault with a deadly weapon call.
- When police arrived at the scene, they learned that a man had assaulted several family members with an unknown type of weapon.
- Police tried to make contact with the man, but he ran.
- Police made several attempts to get the man to surrender, but he refused and barricaded himself in the garage of the home.
- Anaheim Police Department SWAT Arrived with a warrant and later made entry into the home using gas, at that time the man surrendered.
