Officers responded to a disturbance call involving a male and female.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with the female, who was determined to be the victim of an assault.

After investigating, officers obtained assistance from the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, which accepted felony assault charges against the male suspect.

Officers believed the suspect was inside the apartment and attempted to make verbal contact, but the suspect refused to comply.

Officers secured the area and made entry into the apartment.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident.

No injuries were reported to the officers or the suspect.
- Was told off-camera that they are believed to be in a former dating relationship.
