Man Assaults LBPD Officer, Gets Arrested *CAUGHT ON CAMERA*

On May 11, 2024, at approximately 1:30 am, Officers responded to the 5200 block of E. 2nd St regarding multiple complaints of loud music. Officers arrived and found a male adult DJ playing amplified music and detained him. During their investigation, a male adult suspect from the crowd assaulted an officer and was taken into custody. The DJ was issued a citation and released at the scene. The suspect, identified as Reginald Williams, 27, of Long Beach, was taken to a local hospital for evaluation before being booked for assault on a peace officer. No injuries were reported, and the investigation is ongoing.
