Man Arrested After Hitting Deputy with His Car and Took Off

CHP AND RSO LOCATED THE VEHICLE AT AN APARTMENT COMPLEX AT 25335 ALESSANDRO BLVD.  AT THAT LOCATION THEY FOUND THE DRIVER OF THE VEHICLE THAT HIT THE DEPUTY AND HE HAS BEEN TAKEN INTO CUSTODY AND HIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN TOWED FOR EVIDENCE.  In the video you can see the suspect being taken into custody as well as officers with his vehicle . According to Riverside County Sheriff’s Deputy Lieutenant Vickers At 9:03 p.m., deputies were dispatched to an assault with a deadly weapon call in the area of Indian Street and Alessandro Boulevard in Moreno Valley. While conducting the investigation the deputy was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. The deputy was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.

There is no suspect in custody at this time and the investigation remains ongoing.
