Malibu: Woolsey Fire Converges On Malibu, Firefighters Continue To Wage Fierce Battle

11.10.2018 | 12:00 AM | MALIBU – The Woolsey Fire continued to explode as it worked its way into Malibu, Saturday morning.

Firefighters from numerous agencies around southern California continued to wage an aggressive fight against the Woolsey Fire.

The fire has exploded to over 35,000 acres with the assistance of strong winds At least 150 homes have been destroyed and over 200,000 people are under evacuation orders.

Efforts to protect homes in the Malibu area were ramped up as winds continued to push the fire towards the Pacific Ocean.

Reports of possible fatalities came in overnight but could not immediately be verified.
