Malibu: Man Cut Free From Major Crash on PCH
11.30.2018 | 12:11 AM | MALIBU – A man was hospitalized after being cut free from his car after a rollover crash, early Friday morning.
Authorities responded to a rollover crash on Pacific Coast Highway just north of Sycamore Canyon Road shortly after 12:00 AM.
Units arriving on scene found a vehicle with significant damage that had apparently struck a guardrail before overturning.
The driver of the vehicle was unconscious and trapped inside the wreckage requiring firefighters to cut him from the wreckage.
Within 30 minutes the man was freed from the wreckage and transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.
Police shut down Pacific Coast Highway while they investigated the circumstances surrounding the crash.
