Malibu: Dead Whale Washes Up On Local Beach

03.24.2019 | 3:10 AM | MALIBU – A large dead whale washed ashore, Sunday morning.

Officers responded to reports of a “semi truck” sized whale that had washed up onto the County Line Beach in the 42500 block of Pacific Coast Highway around 3:10 AM.

Units arriving on scene confirmed the location of the whale and determined it to be deceased from apparent injuries.

Channel Islands Marine and Wildlife was notified and was responding to handle the remains of the whale.
