Male Road Raging on Female Driver Causes Crash | Chula Vista
10.22.2021 | 7:25 AM | CHULA VISA – The female driver of the SUV was traveling northbound on Hunte Parkway along with her 14-year-old granddaughter when the male driver of the truck came speeding up behind her.
He started to tailgate her and honk his horn. Traffic was light and he could have gone around her according to two different witnesses.
He suddenly went into the #2 lane and as he passed her, he swerved in front of the SUV and hit it.
This caused the woman to lose control of the SUV.
The SUV went over the center divider and crossed into the oncoming traffic lanes and left the roadway hitting a tree head-on.
The male did make a U-turn and come back to the accident.
The male then started to threaten the witnesses, claiming they all were responsible for causing the accident.
The woman and her granddaughter were badly shaken, but not injured.
The Police interviewed all parties and allowed the male to leave, pending further investigation.
