Male Fatally Ejected After Crash

LOCATION:  7747 Antoine
AREA/CITY:  Houston
DETAILS:

  1. HPD and HFD responded to reports of a rollover crash
  2. Arriving companies located a solo vehicle which left the roadway
  3. 2 patients were located, with one being pronounced deceased on scene by HFD
  4. the second occupant was transported to a nearby trauma center, where he is in stable condition
  5. Prelim info- 2 males (Uncle and Nephew) were traveling northbound on Antoine when the vehicle left the roadway, striking a mailbox, then a light pole, before flipping and striking a tree
  6. The deceased was ejected from the vehicle during the crash
  7. HPD VCD and Recon (reconstruction units) are working to determine who was behind the wheel
  8. Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash
