Male Arrested After Crash | Chula Vista

01.21.2022 | 10:44 AM | CHULA VISTA – The female driver of the Infinity was southbound with members of her family when the male driver of the Ford pulled out in front of them from eastbound Park Way.

The 2 vehicles collided.

According to a passenger in Infinity, the male got out of his vehicle and was highly agitated. He was yelling at his car.

Firefighters and officers arrived and started to attend to the victims and investigate the scene.

Officers were questioning the male after he pulled many of his belongings out of the car and he stopped answering their questions.

There was a heavy smell of marijuana coming from his car.

He told the officers that he would not answer any more of their questions and he was going to walk away and go home.

The officers advised him to stay and sit down. He refused and was then taken into custody.

At one point he can be heard making a racial comment to the African-American officer.

He will be evaluated for DUI at the Police station.

2 of the females in the Infinity were transported to a local hospital for minor injuries.
