- LOS ANGELES (CNS) – Two people were injured in a hit-and-run crash in Boyle Heights Saturday.The collision was reported about 5:40 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of Forest Avenue, near Folsom Street and a few blocks north of Evergreen Cemetery, according to Officer Miller of the Los Angeles Police Department.
A silver Dodge car struck about four parked vehicles, injuring two people, including a 22-year-old man. At least one person was taken to a hospital with severe injuries, according to police.
The driver fled the scene and no one was in custody as of about 7 p.m., Miller said.
(Per neighbors off camera, they stated the passenger of the dodge was severely injured and the driver attempted to run away. At least one person was seen detained in cuffs.)
