Major Freeway Crash “Nos” Found In Car, San Bernardino, CA

LOCATION: NB 215, North of 2nd Street

DETAILS:

1. On July 18th, 2026, at 9:32 PM, CHP, San Bernardino County Fire, and AMR responded to a traffic collision on the Northbound 215 Freeway, just North of 2nd Street in San Bernardino.
2. Units arrived at the scene and located a solo vehicle crash with major damage.
3. Good Samaritans had pulled the driver out of the vehicle.
4. He was transported with unknown injuries to a local hospital.
5. An empty nitrous oxide box was located in the car, but it’s unknown if the driver was under the influence at the time of the crash.
6. The freeway was fully shut down for a short period while officers cleared lanes.
7. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
