Lucerne Valley: Popular Restaurant Damaged By Fire

06.03.2020 | 11:00 PM | LUCERNE VALLEY – A popular restaurant was damaged by a fire, late Wednesday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a commercial structure fire burning at the Adelita’s Mexican Restaurant located in the 32600 block of Highway 18 around 11:00 PM.

Units arriving on scene located the popular Mexican restaurant with smoke showing from the roof.

Firefighters worked for just under an hour to extinguish the blaze which was located in the attic of the building.

The Mexican restaurant was under construction but still open for business and suffered substantial damage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
