Los Angeles: Woman Shoots Handyman Who Won’t Do Extra Work
01.06.2019 | 12:00 PM | LOS ANGELES – A woman opened fire on a handyman after she claims he wouldn’t perform additional work on her Hyde Park home, Sunday afternoon.
Police and fire officials responded to the reported shooting in the 6200 block of Victoria Avenue around 12:00 PM.
Units arriving on scene found a man who had been shot in the face by a woman was lived at a nearby residence.
Firefighter paramedics treated the male victim on scene before transporting him to an area hospital.
Officers learned that shooting occurred after the man who had been hired to perform work on a condo was asked to do additional work that was not authorized.
The handyman refused and a dispute broke out that ended when the female returned with a gun and opened fire.
A second handyman was present at the time of the shooting but uninjured.
Officers arrested the woman on scene but it was unclear what charges she might face.
