Los Angeles: Triple Shooting Leaves One Dead

12.28.2018 | 10:32 PM | LOS ANGELES – One person was in custody after a triple shooting killed one person and hospitalized two others, Friday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of 89th Street and Central in the Green Meadows area of Los Angeles around 10:30 PM.

Units arriving on scene found three victims down suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims was pronounced deceased on scene.

Two other victims were treated on scene before being transported to area hospitals. At least one of the two victims was described as suffering from critical injuries.

Officers established a large perimeter while they searched for the suspected shooting.

After nearly three hours the man suspected of being the shooter was taken into custody by officers.
