Los Angeles: Suspected DUI Crash Leaves One Dead

06.04.2019 | 12:32 AM | LOS ANGELES – A woman was dead after the driver of the car she was riding in crashed into several parked vehicles, early Tuesday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision in the 4900 block of Crewnshaw Boulevard in Hyde Park around 12:32 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a vehicle occupied by two females that had collided with several parked vehicles.

Firefighter paramedics pronounced the female passenger on scene.

The driver was placed under arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence before being transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.

Officers cordoned off the area while they continued to investigate the crash.
