Los Angeles: Suspect Surrenders After Hours Long Pursuit
07.17.2020 | 6:15 PM | LOS ANGELES – A suspect who led officers on an hours long pursuit after stealing a vehicle from a dealership surrendered, Friday night.
Officers attempted to stop a grey Subaru SUV that had been reported stolen from a dealership in Santa Monica at around 6:15 PM.
The driver of the vehicle and a female passenger fled from officers, leading them on a pursuit that reached speeds of 120 MPH.
At some point during the pursuit the female passenger fled. It was unclear if she was apprehended.
The pursuit came to an end about three hours later when the driver pulled into a gas station in the Castaic area and surrendered.
